I am a gay-man of G-d. I do not speak for another, and I do not speak for G-d. But I do speak for myself. And it is my unshakeable belief that G-d loves all who believe and who do not believe equally. I find great comfort in knowing that politics and religion are (wo)man-made and not of G-d’s imagination. Now in my fifties, having a not so uneventful life, watching, remembering and living much of what was shown and not shown in “God In America”, I have to say with a measure of sadness and as well joy, yes, even in joy, “G-D BLESS AMERICA” !!! Does your family practice more than one religion or faith? Yet the belief in love remains constant throughout.
How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator To love those who do not love can be quite a challenge and very tiring at times. Religion & the Public Square

What should be the role of religion in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I do not believe religion should play a role in civil politics.
Should courses about religion be taught in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Only within the context of how religion effects a culture which is being studied within the subjects of geography and world cultures. As well as it's effects upon the subject of science and mathematics.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Absolutely, as well as those of Buddhism and Zoroastrianism and other sacred texts not mentioned above.
Is interfaith dialogue important? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Perhaps this is the most important component of the equation for a pluralistic society and one which is often neglected for religious reasons. To many people of religion believe that in doing so puts their religion at risk for being assimilated into a secular humanist footnote.
Do you feel comfortable discussing your faith with others? Why/why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I have no problem discussing my faith in G-d. My faith in institutions however is another story.
Do you feel that you have a duty, because of your faith, to put your beliefs into action? What are some of those actions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator My duty is to love G-d with all that I am and to love those around me. I think this is best summed up in the following, Hillel taught: If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am for myself alone, then what am I? If not now, when?
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator There are no religious beliefs I hold that are compromised by engaging in politics.
Has 9/11 had any impact on your thoughts about religion? Are you more/less interested in learning about other religions? Do you feel more/less comfortable expressing your religious beliefs? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Not upon religion. Religion has seen and will continue to see lunitics from within their ranks. What did change for me was my opinion on how easily people were led to believe that any religion would be singled out because of the act of mad-men, those crazy or in some instances evil (incarnate) who murder for any reason.
