I imagine God as a tall figure that is radiating with light and perfection. I believe that his presence would be sensed with awe and wonder. His perfection would flood the minds of those surrounding Him and his power would be able to be recognized.

I believe that believing and having faith in the fact that Jesus Christ ( God's only son) was sent to earth as a human baby, raised by Mary and Joseph, and sent to the cross to die in order to forgive our sins is the only way to gain eternal life. I believe it is by the grace of God that we are saved and forgiven. I believe that baptism and the Lord's supper are important acts that the church should recognize. I believe that witnessing to others not only by word by also by actions is important as well.
My most powerful moment of belief was ...

Two years ago, I was on a mission trip in Soulard with my youth group. It was the second day we were there, and I had to leave for the day in order to work and attend a graduation. I got a call from one of my youth leaders telling me that one of my good friends from youth group had committed suicide that morning. I was shocked. In that moment, I had a lot of questions and doubt in God, but because of my faith in God, I was able to trust Him and know that He had a plan.
My greatest moment of doubt was ...

It should be the foundation of every decision. Every argument should be backed up with scripture.
Should courses about religion be taught in public schools? Why or why not?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
Yes, because that is a way of sharing the gospel.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
No. The Bible isn't literature. It's God's word. It's truth. It wasn't written by an author just telling a story. It was written by the creator of the universe.
Is interfaith dialogue important? Why or why not?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
Yes because it shows that you are willing to calmly discuss things and not shove religious beliefs down their throat.
Do you feel comfortable discussing your faith with others? Why/why not?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
Yes because I would rather risk embarassment and save someone for eternity rather than be cool on earth and not see my friends in heaven.
Do you feel that you have a duty, because of your faith, to put your beliefs into action? What are some of those actions?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
Yes. Sharing the gospel with others, helping others, demonstrating God's love.
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics?

No. I think that politics give religious beliefs a chance to be put into action
Has 9/11 had any impact on your thoughts about religion? Are you more/less interested in learning about other religions? Do you feel more/less comfortable expressing your religious beliefs?
your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator
9/11 just shows me more and more that even when things look horrible, God has a plan. I think that it's important to learn about other religions so that you know what other peoples beliefs are.
