I believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. That he lived 33 years healing the sick and making the blind see. That he was hung on the cross to bear our sins. That he was buried but that he rose again on the 3rd day defeating death and hell and that he ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father. I believe that Jesus is the only way to God and to Heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." I believe that Jesus desires all to come to Him and that Jesus loves every single person with a love that went to a cross!

I turned away from Christ in my latter teenage years only to find myself (spiritually) face down in the dirt. I rededicated my life in my mid-twenties and came back to Christ. Christ never left me...I left Him. I am now 44 years old and my life has been tremendously better walking with Jesus rather than running from Him. God is a God that grants peace, purpose and mercy to His children!

no - we are Christ followers. My faith is not in religion but instead in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

It is not always easy...practicing my faith is a discipline. The more a person practices the easier it becomes. I have a daily quiet time that I spend with God in which I read the Bible and pray.

Our nation was not founded under a religion. Instead, our nation was founded with a trust and belief in God. Therefore, our nation should remain a nation that fears and serves the Lord.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not?

The Bible says that, "Faith without works is dead." I believe that we should put our faith into action! The way we live screams so loudly to the world. By the way we live...we put our faith into action.
