My Beliefs

How I Practice My Faith

Does your family practice more than one religion or faith? If so, how do you blend the traditions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No!, my family does not practice anything else.
How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator It is Difficult to live my faith, because of all of the temptations i have.

Religion & the Public Square

What should be the role of religion in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator The role of religion in politics should be to never doubt God, always know that he is here for you and to never forget it.
Should courses about religion be taught in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I think that religion should be taught everywhere. In public schools, it should be an option and the people who want to take it can have that opportunity.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator It should not be taught as literature because it is to help us grow in faith, not to just read because it is required.
Is interfaith dialogue important? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator It should be important to Christians because in order for us to keep our faith strong, we need to talk about it. So yes, I think it is important.
Do you feel comfortable discussing your faith with others? Why/why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Sometimes I feel more comfortable than other times. I should be more comfortable, but sometimes I feel silly trying to strike up a conversation about my faith.
Do you feel that you have a duty, because of your faith, to put your beliefs into action? What are some of those actions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Yes, I feel it is my duty to put my beliefs into action. Some of these actions can be Faith in Action, doing volunteer work, helping at my church, etc.
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No my beliefs are not compromised by engaging in politics.
Has 9/11 had any impact on your thoughts about religion? Are you more/less interested in learning about other religions? Do you feel more/less comfortable expressing your religious beliefs? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No, 9/11 did not have impact on my thoughts about religion. I am not interested in learning about other religions. I do not feel any less comfortable on expressing my religious beliefs.
