Scientific views end in awe and mystery, lost at the edge in uncertainty, but they appear to be so deep and so impressive that the theory that it is all arranged as a stage for God to watch man's struggle for good and evil seems inadequate. Richard P. Feynman

How Do You Imagine God?
God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator A world without god is a kinder, gentler world. The evils that go on inside and outside of the hearts of human beings are as brutal and cruel as the Nature we all spring from. Disasters are unfortunate, famine is terrifying, murder is considered by all faiths and cultures to be abhorrent, and none of us would condone rape. All these things are even more devastating if you believe in a god that has the power to stop them but doesn't. I don't believe an all-powerful, all-knowing, compassionate god would create a world as cold and uncaring as this one. It is great comfort to me that my petty squabbles with the world are of almost no consequence to it, and that the only traces I will leave behind when I die are the memories that will live on, albeit briefly, in the minds of the people who knew me.

My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator life is an amazing assortment of ordered processes in a fascinating universe.
The biggest misconception about my faith/belief system is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator that atheists are amoral. We are not amoral.
