How Do You Imagine God?
God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I imagine God wondering every day whether religious Americans will ever turn their attention away from saving their souls, an immortal project to which they can contribute nothing, and toward saving the world, a mortal project to which they could contribute something significant.

My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I believe there are in the end only two religions, the one whose God is violent and legitimates state violence, and the one whose God is nonviolent and invites humans to mature and learn to overcome evil with good.
My most powerful moment of belief was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator My most powerful moment of belief was when I saw in Jesus that God is reconciling all of humanity to itself and God's self, that God will never separate us from nor destroy our enemies, and that we have the power to get on now with this process of community building by loving both our neighbors and our enemies.
