My Faith History

As a child I believed ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator God had the potential to be kind and mean. Mostly, he was to be feared.
My spiritual journey has been ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator A struggle to remember God's blessings in my life, recognize my own strengths and have faith in God, myself and others.
I was raised as ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Mormon)
Are your beliefs or practices different from your parents? If so, how and why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I believe that I have a kinder view of who God is. I have seen and experienced the need for kindness and charity in mine and the lives of others. I am only able to experience the true warmth and comfort of the Holy Spirit when I have been in the service of others, and they serving me. God is not a god of fear. Otherwise, the warmth and comfort of His spirit would have no power to uplift me.

Do you feel more/less comfortable expressing your religious beliefs? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator It is more important than ever to learn as much as you can about other religions. The search for common ground and understanding depends on sharing of differing beliefs. Sharing my own beliefs depends on how open and objective I belief the other person to be.
