I feel that there is sooo much thought about god. why cant everyone juat agree that each person has their own idea of what god is and get along? if this happened there wouldn't be as many problems between religions and the world would be much more at peace.

God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator god to me is just an idea...god is there for people who need to have some idea of being. people who just dont realize that every thing that is...just is. god was created for the reason of feeling something of an understanding when you really just don't.

My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator i believe that god is only an idea, and that all the problems and controversy that comes of the beliefs in god are not worth it. god is god and if people could just understand that then we would be much better off.
My most powerful moment of belief was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator when i realized that i would never know who or what god is and that i just had to make it up if i wanted to know in the first place.
My greatest moment of doubt was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator realizing that i don't totally believe in god. there is never any proof, just people in my life telling me that god is there and to believe it. personaly i would like to have some proof of my own.
The biggest misconception about my faith/belief system is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator that we as jews pray to a god hoping that he/she/it will hear us and grant us these wishes. we are just praying to ourselves.
