How Do You Imagine God?
God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I imagine God as he imagines me. He directs and I follow along, he gives so yes I accept without deflection either good or bad for they all lead to his hands. I imagine God as he imagines me. In my reflection there we are, combined from just a piece of his expression, mortal in form yet able to be completed while walking through preparing storms. I imagine God as he imagines me. Peaks and valleys, across rivers and oceans I am the landscape God has created to mimic this planets surface by blending in or sticking out, there is artistry involved being I am what God is on about. I imagine God as he imagines me. Incredible describes just the architecture of my eyes so I may see, but not God for he is in my minds eye blending all that I am with all I can be thus showing me how he truly imagines me. I imagine God as he imagines me, knowing the day will come when I am the him part of me, built from perfection meant to evidence a God-like projection.

My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator God is not a Religion.
My most powerful moment of belief was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator When God came in person to give me life or give me death.
My greatest moment of doubt was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I don't understand what doubt is.
My spiritual life means... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I accept God for all he is and there is nothing he gives to me that I will not take.
The biggest misconception about my faith/belief system is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I don't have a system. God tells me what to do and I obey. I am not the master of me.
The tenet/practice/teaching I appreciate most about my faith is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Faith, hope and love all need trust in order to develop. Without trust faith is dead, without trust hope has no feeling or desire and without trust love could not be shared or returned. Knowledge is something that is learned on a daily basis but wisdom is earned and can only be garnered from the failure of what was already known. (You are using the word faith in the wrong context. Faith is not a state, it is belief without proof.)

My Faith History

As a child I believed ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Catholic
My spiritual journey has been ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator One of magnitude, change and pain. There are stories upon stories upon those including all forms of new gifts that I did not possess before.
I was raised as ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Catholic
Are your beliefs or practices different from your parents? If so, how and why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Totally. We believe that God is not a religion nor a set of rules and that every day is just as important as the next so there are no ridiculous traditions claiming any day is of more significance.
If you have children, did becoming a parent change your relationship to faith? If so, how? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No. My children were grown before any of God's change in me.

How I Practice My Faith

Where and when do you practice your faith? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I practice trust in my actions, way of life and how I present myself each day.
Does your family practice more than one religion or faith? If so, how do you blend the traditions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No.
How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Me.
In my house, the thing that most represents my faith is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Me.
The song/book/film that most represents my faith is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator None.

Religion & the Public Square

What should be the role of religion in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator God is not a religion. If one book can spawn over 50 different religions then there must be 50 different God's. Yet there is only one so he he is none of those.
Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No. God is not a book. While there are directions in all of these book's he is not a set of rules and cannot be found in them. He is found inside each of us and each of us find him differently.
Is interfaith dialogue important? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Religion is not faith and it is what separates the world so it makes no difference, until the books are tossed and beliefs are updated from say, 1300 tears ago no change will ever take place.
Do you feel comfortable discussing your faith with others? Why/why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Yes and it is not faith, it is an idea to reach people letting God teach them once they decide to cross a line from which they can never go back.
Do you feel that you have a duty, because of your faith, to put your beliefs into action? What are some of those actions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator There is no duty unless God says there is and to believe the same people should be accountable the same way because a book says so is rubbish.
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator God is already in politics for he is in everything so while thinking they are separate they are not.
Has 9/11 had any impact on your thoughts about religion? Are you more/less interested in learning about other religions? Do you feel more/less comfortable expressing your religious beliefs? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator God is classified as the number 21, or 7 7 7 while Satan is classified as the number 18 or 6 6 6. So 9 + 11 + 01 = 21. This was a message from God for us to take notice and change but we did not so many other attention getters have been coming and will begin to rise until the message is heard.
