How Do You Imagine God?
God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I imagine God as being a huge ball of light and brightness. I think that he is too powerful to even look at and that his glory blinds us from looking at his face. If I could look at him and see is face i would think he would look like a human since the Bible says he created man in his own image.

My Beliefs

My spiritual role model is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Albert Pulojs. After games when he is interviewed he never fails to give God the glory. He also has a charity set up to help those in need.
The tenet/practice/teaching I appreciate most about my faith is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Prayer. I like being able to go to somehow who i can lay my out my feelings on. I also like how in Prayer the Spirit intercedes the words for us when we don't know what to say.

My Faith History

As a child I believed ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator That God punished me if I did something wrong. I thought if I disobeyed my mom God would make me fall off my bike or lose a game. I also thought that I if I did good God would reward me.
My spiritual journey has been ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Rather smooth I have gone to a Lutheran School and been around Lutherans my whole life. How I Practice My Faith

Where and when do you practice your faith? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I practice my faith in Church and in Chapel and small groups in school. Outside of that I try to act nice and friendly with everyone and try not to gossip about others.
Does your family practice more than one religion or faith? If so, how do you blend the traditions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator No
How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I think it is easy living in a Lutheran home I don't have any real pressures to do bad stuff and am always encouraged to do the right thing.

Religion & the Public Square

What should be the role of religion in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator They should serve as a guide helping politicians make the right the decisions. It should help them make decisions that are best for the country not for themselves or friends.
Are religious beliefs compromised by engaging in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Yes i believe so. People cannot freely speak religion in public places. Some people do not want to have anything to do with religion so they complain about the word God in the pledge of alligence or IN GOD WE TRUST. Politics is also all about compromise so with dealing with a person of a different religion you will have to give up something to achieve what you want.
