Composer Philip Koplow's song cycle for soprano and full orchestra, I Am a Song, is the centerpiece of the 10th anniversary season of the Etowah Youth Orchestras. Text for the song cycle was harvested from poetry submissions by community residents, ranging in age from 5 to 105, on the theme of everyday life in Etowah County. The work will be performed by soprano Darla Brooks with the Etowah Youth Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of EYO Music Director & Conductor Michael R. Gagliardo.
