Voices of the Lakes: A Choral Fantasy for Youth Choir was composed by James Clemens for performance by Friends of the Arts Youth Choir. The piece incorporates a hymn tune and a folk melody, and uses gentle, open harmonies to enhance the dream-like poetry. Texts for the piece were written by three women with ties to Plymouth: Miriam E. Keniston, Frances Ann Johnson Hancock, and Marie A. Hodge.
