Wintergreen, Virginia
On July 3rd, 2000, Wintergreen Performing Arts,
the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and the Virginia Center for
the Creative Arts presented From Time to Time, a composition
by Anthony Iannaccone. Taking two Appalachian folk songs,
Iannaccone created a symphonic work to reflect the spirit
of Virginia. During the process of composing, he conducted
workshops in local schools to acquaint students with the art
of composition.
