  • When she returned to Afghanistan after more than two decades abroad, oral history specialist Shaista Wahab was shocked at how poorly women were being treated, as opposed to how they were before the Taliban came to power. Do you feel there is a brighter future in store for women in Afghanistan? Why or why not?
