Medora T-Shirt Contest!

Medora, which premieres on Independent Lens next Monday, March 31st at 10 PM (check local listings), is the story of a struggling Indiana community and its woebegotten high school basketball team trying to get that elusive win. “Medora scores some winning points in powerful fashion,” wrote Frank Scheck in the Hollywood Reporter. “An evocative portrait of a small town.”

Now you can be one of two (2) lucky winners of an official Medora t-shirt, courtesy Medora, Beachside Films, and your friends here at Independent Lens.  To be eligible for the random drawing, please post in the comments here below, with your name, and the nickname of your high school sports team. That’s it! We’ll pick two winners at random and notify them here.

Deadline for entries is April 8, 2014.  So don’t delay, give it your best shot today.

[Note of disclaimer: Employees of  ITVS and Independent Lens, as well as the contest’s participating sponsors and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win.]

  • Cynthia McCauley

A heart-breaking portrayal of life in most of the small towns in my beloved hoosier state. Globalization, deindustrialization, privatization, outsourcing-again, the rich play with the matches of power and the poor get burned. Thank you for capturing the struggles.
