Ricardo Rocha runs the independent television production company Detrás de la Noticia (Behind the News) in Mexico City. In DEMOCRACY ON DEADLINE, Rocha interviews Cardinal Sandoval, who was accused of money laundering for drug traffickers, and remembers how completely the Mexican government controlled what the public could know as late as 1968, when students staged a demonstration in a Mexico City square.
