Talkback

Submit your thoughts on DOUBLE DARE.

We invite you to respond to the questions below or add your comments. Selected submissions will be posted on our Talkback page, so check back regularly and join the discussion.
  • Filmmaker Amanda Micheli hopes that DOUBLE DARE will “provide an alternative to the flimsy images of women that dominate mainstream film and television.” Why would offering an alternative be important? What impact might such “flimsy images” have on viewers?

  • Stuntwomen like Jeannie Epper and Zoë Bell repeatedly risk their lives in doing the work they love. Would you ever take such a risk on the job? Why or why not?

  • Epper and her colleagues formed the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures as a way to face the challenges involved of working in a heavily male-dominated industry. Have you ever formed or participated in an organization that countered prejudices with a similar “strength in numbers” philosophy?
