The visual effect of Double Exposure is stunningly beautiful for me.
The black and white fluent, constantly changing image of water, reminds me of the traditional Chinese ink brush paintings, realistic but abstract at the same time.
I think the artist has found a very powerful and effective way to combine the ancient cultural tradition with the cutting-edge technology (Final cut Pro) to visualize the "double exposure" of two great cultures.
Bravo, "old-Chinese-lady"!

I already ordered your favorite Fellini movie. I love Umberto D. Your vision is wisdom and the world will be rich when it is able to hold and treasure all the beauty and happy knowledge it contains. Thank you

What a delight! She must have walked into her work of art because you can see her in there. Her warmth, quiet strength and humor shine through to enrich us all. I hope this talent does much more.

So much of life is surface that we forget sometimes how much we are all walking examples of hybridity. The imagry in Double Exposer reminded me of that. Many of immigrants, and indeed us children of imiggrants walk between these two worlds. Kit- Yin Snyder's film managed to speak on so much of what that hybridity means in terms ones name, spirit, and custom.I truely enjoyed watching my "self" in that "little old chinese lady".

In Double Exposure, I know there is someone behind the camera who has lived with beauty and with the lonliness and pain of seperation and I can trust each frame and word as authentic. And no one can write out a check for this. How much film training did Kit have before doing this and where? if any? And what kind of digital camera is she using? This a superb experience. It speaks to my heart and inspires my own creativity! Thank you!

I got up this morning, after watching your first film last night, and just had to tell you how wonderful you, little chinese cowgirl, are.

Such beautiful landscapes and words filled me up and faced me forward. You should be very proud of this work.

When simplicity has power this movie proves it Where it glides over the surface of the landscape it cuts deep

A wonderful, thought provoking, and moving piece of work. It made me happy to see that a true artist can create at any age. Maybe the fortune teller touched on something when she talked about "moving forward through the past and moving backwards through the future".

Very inspiring and beautiful story for people of all ages!
