Americans for Informed Democracy (AID)
Americans for Informed Democracy (AID) is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization that brings the world home through programming on more than 1,000 U.S. university campuses and in more than ten countries. AID fulfills its mission by coordinating town hall meetings on America's role in the world, hosting leadership retreats and publishing opinion pieces and reports on issues of global importance.

Campus Compact
Campus Compact is a coalition of more than 1,100 college and university presidents—representing some six million students—who are committed to fulfilling the public purposes of higher education. As the only national association dedicated to this mission, Campus Compact is a leader in building civic engagement into campus and academic life. Through a national office and network of 32 state offices, member institutions receive the training, resources and advocacy they need to build strong surrounding communities and teach students the skills and values of democracy.

Common Cause’s mission is to strengthen public participation and faith in our institutions of self-government; to ensure that government and political processes serve the general interest, rather than special interests; to curb the excessive influence of money on government decisions and elections; to promote fair elections and high ethical standards for government officials; and to protect the civil rights and civil liberties of all Americans.

Declare Yourself
Declare Yourself is a national nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign whose mission is to empower and encourage every eligible 18-year-old in America to register and vote in the presidential primaries and 2008 presidential election. Using the power of strategic media partnerships, celebrity spokespeople, the sports arena, and most importantly, mobile and Internet technology, Declare Yourself's campaign blankets the landscape of popular culture, as well as universities and high schools, with a simple, clear message: REGISTER and VOTE!

Demos: A Network for Ideas & Action is a non-partisan public policy research and advocacy organization committed to building an America that achieves its highest democratic ideals. We believe this requires a democracy that is robust and inclusive, with high levels of electoral participation and civic engagement; an economy where prosperity and opportunity are broadly shared and disparity is reduced; and a strong and effective public sector with the capacity to plan for the future and provide for the common good. Founded in 2000, Demos combines research with advocacy—melding a think tank’s commitment to ideas with the organizing strategies of an advocacy group.

Democracia U.S.A.
Democracia U.S.A. empowers Hispanics by increasing their participation in the electoral process and registering them as voters, educating them in a non-partisan way about important issues at stake and motivating them to vote on Election Day. Democracia U.S.A. develops Hispanic leaders across America by teaching important leadership skills that they can use to champion causes and issues for the benefit of their respective communities. And, Democracia U.S.A. promotes greater civic participation by educating Hispanics about the American political process and encouraging them to participate within it as a means of improving their quality of life.
