The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence
Led by Sarah Brady, this organization’s site features facts, briefs, research and statistics on a variety of gun issues; topics range from an "Assault Weapon Ban Q & A" to a "Guns in the Home" issue brief. The legislation section allows citizens to monitor their elected officials' voting records on gun control issues.
Children’s Defense Fund Gun Violence Program
Contains stats and fact sheets on children and gun violence, gun safety legislation basics, community action toolkits, annual data reports and articles on the early recruitment of children to gun culture.
Million Mom March
Includes issue briefs and an explanation of gun laws state-by-state, legislation updates, local chapter finder, “apple pie awards” for notable people who champion gun control and “time-out chairs” for people who support the gun lobby.
Mothers Against Teen Violence (MATV)
Aiming to make schools and communities safer through teen violence prevention, MATV’s site provides advice for parents in dealing with their children’s behavior, stats on kids and gun violence and a list of publications for parents and educators.
Mothers Against Violence in America
Dedicated to preventing violence by and against children through education, outreach and advocacy, this organization’s site includes ways to take action, video and Web site resources and links to related topics.

Armed Females of America (AFA)
Taking a “no-compromise position by calling for the repeal of all gun laws back to and including the National Firearms Act of 1934,” AFA contains updates on current issues and opinion pieces, a notable quotes section, gun safety tips and extensive links to other gun rights organizations.
Mothers Arms
Created “to inform, educate and support the development of self-reliant women nationwide who consider it a fundamental right and responsibility to protect themselves,” this site has a “learn to be safe” section, FAQs, list of upcoming events and a newsletter archive.
National Rifle Association (NRA) Women
Features firearms safety strategies, info on women’s special events at NRA annual meetings, a newsletter, hunting articles, safety and training resources and the Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program that seeks to prevent the involvement of young children in gun accidents.
Second Amendment Sisters
Site contains a self-defense section, newsletter archive, articles including safety tips and gun facts, a press area with rally reports, a “talk back” section, suggested reading and educational links to firearm safety.
Women Against Gun Control
Through political activism, legislative research and a quarterly newsletter WAGC advocates that “guns are the great equalizer” in women’s self-defense. Site includes guest editorials, anecdotes from people who successfully used guns in self-defense, company boycotts and safety tips.
