Talkback

We invite you to respond to the questions below or add your comments. Selected submissions will be posted on our Talkback page, so check back regularly and join the discussion.
  • Filmmaker David Fisher’s parents rarely talked about the disappearance of their twin daughter, and Fisher himself never thought to search for her until after his parents’ death. Do you feel some family secrets should remain secret, and if so, why?

  • In LOVE INVENTORY, the four Fisher siblings fight, argue and care for one another with equal emotion and intensity. Can sibling rivalry be a positive force? Why or why not?

  • David Fisher’s wife, Lili, says: “The Fisher family always takes care of their own. First, you worry about Mom, then Dad, a brother. The wives are always in second place with you.” Do you agree that what David Fisher refers to as “blood ties” should always take precedence over other relationships? Why or why not?
