self-esteem group behavior identity

In this clip, counselor Katie Gentile talks about how three of the guys in the video-- Frank, Danny, and David-- can help us explore gender issues and the role of society in shaping the way we act.

1) Katie Gentile says: "The thing about Frank is that he seems to have a more fluid sense of identity, a more fluid sense of what it is to be masculine". What does she mean by "fluid"?

2) Katie says that the boys in this video clip seem to define "masculinity" for themselves in different ways, while the girls limit themselves to a more traditional idea of "femininity". Do you think this is the case with most young people? What can influence someone's idea of what it means to be "masculine" or "feminine"?
