Katie Gentile
Katie Gentile has a PhD in Counseling Psychology.
She is the director of the Women's Center at John Jay College
of Criminal Justice in New York City and a training psychoanalyst
at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.
Her focus is on eating problems and the pervasive effects of
trauma. She has written about adolescent friendships and groups.
