Conscience and the Constitution

Frank Emi (transcript)

"Well you know when we matriculated at Leavenworth College... they had a sports day about two, three months after we were there. There was several of us that were into judo at that time. So we said well, we can put on a judo exhibition. We had some of the smaller guys throw us bigger guys around and everything. And really made a big hit with the other inmates there. One of the inmates there was a professional wrestler and he challenged Horino to a wrestling match. And Sam says sure. Being a wrestler he jumped for Sam's legs right away, and Sam just let him get his leg. And as he came towards Sam, why Sam got a chokehold on him and just choked him out (laughter). That ended real quick. They were very good to us."
