dancing "Journey Into Amazonia" is available both for home use and for educators at shopPBS.

The series features the swollen rivers, flooded forests and dense canopy of the vast rainforest recognized as one of Earth's natural wonders, and offers a closer look at rarely seen animals as they contend with the volatile waters of the world's largest river system. The river's rich waters sustain seven-foot otters, fresh-water dolphins and manatee. On land, stealthy jaguars prowl, acrobatic woolly-monkeys defy gravity and keen-eyed harpy eagles soar. Rod Steiger narrates.
