REMO, INC. UNDERWRITES THE CHARLIE HORSE MUSIC PIZZA

World's Largest Drum and Drumhead Manufacture Provides Additional Support By Donating Musical Instruments For Family Jam Sessions

(Los Angeles, CA.: October 27, 1997) -- REMO, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of drums, drumheads and percussion products, has become a national underwriter of The Charlie Horse Music Pizza -- the innovative half-hour musical comedy series for kids from 12-time Emmy Award winner and internationally renowned entertainer Shari Lewis. Produced by the Charlie Horse Music Pizza Production Company, Inc. in association with Golden Books Family Entertainment and KCET/Hollywood, the series will premiere January 5, 1998 with 20 episodes. An additional 20 episodes are slated for Fall '98. The multi-million dollar series is also being funded in part by PBS, CPB and NAMM: The International Music Products Association.

In addition to funding, REMO, Inc. is donating over 200 percussion instruments to enliven special "jam sessions" for families and educators which KCET is coordinating at selected PBS affiliates.
