Walter Yetnikoff's years as head of CBS Records in the 70s and 80s is the stuff of legend. He guided the careers of Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and Billy Joel, among others. He also took his rock and roll lifestyle to excess. Howling at the Moon is his new tell-all book about his wild years. Yetnikoff is on the board of Road Recovery, which helps young adults explore creative alternatives to substance abuse.

In the late 70s, hip-hop pioneer Kool Mo Dee's tongue-twisting rhymes and speedy delivery helped changed rap. For his solo debut, he teamed with unknown teen producer, Teddy Riley, and they both became famous. Dee was the first rapper to perform at the Grammy Awards. He also worked on the Stop The Violence Movement single, "Self Destruction." Dee co-authored There's a God on the Mic: The True 50 Greatest MCs, released last fall.
