Mario Cuomo weighs in on his party's chances this fall. Bow Wow and Solange Knowles discuss the challenges of being teenagers in show business.
Solange Knowles
An accomplished 17-year-old, Solange Knowles was 4 when she first performed in public. She started writing lyrics at seven. At age 15, Knowles released her debut album, Solo Star. She has also toured as a dancer with Destiny's Child, the platinum-selling group that includes her big sis, Beyoncé. Knowles is making her film debut in the comedy, Johnson Family Vacation. A newlywed, she is finding her own niche.
Mario Cuomo
During his tenure as New York's governor, Mario Cuomo created more than a half-million jobs, led the state through two national recessions and balanced 12 consecutive budgets. He caught the public's eye in 1972 after mediating a local housing dispute. Cuomo served as secretary of state and lieutenant governor. He now practices law and continues to pursue his interest in public policy.
Bow Wow
Shad Moss, aka "Bow Wow," is in the Guinness Book as the youngest rapper to have a No. 1 hit. He was discovered at age six by Snoop Dogg, who gave the rapper his nickname. At Epic records, Bow Wow worked on his debut project, Beware Of Dog, with veteran producer Jermaine Dupri. He also branched out into acting, starring in the basketball-themed, Like Mike. Bow Wow stars in the feature, Johnson Family Vacation.
