Rep. Jane Harman discusses redesigning American intelligence and defense. Actor-comedian Kevin Hart describes balancing work for his new TV sitcom and a budding film career.
Rep. Jane Harman
A seventh-term Democrat from Southern California, Rep. Jane Harman is a senior member of the Homeland Security Committee and chairs the Intelligence Subcommittee. She's also a member of The Blue Dog and New Democrat Coalitions. Prior to her election, the Harvard Law grad served as deputy cabinet secretary for President Carter, special counsel to the Defense Department, chief counsel and staff director of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights and Regent's Professor at UCLA.
Kevin Hart
After making a name for himself doing stand-up, comedian Kevin Hart is making waves on TV and in feature films. He executive-produces, writes and stars in ABC's new comedy, The Big House, loosely based on his own family in Philadelphia. On the big screen, he will soon be seen in Soul Plane, a spoof of the comedy classic, Airplane. Hart also takes his comedy routine on the road, touring the college circuit.
