In 1991, President George H. W. Bush called Joseph Wilson, then U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, a "true American hero." In 2003, Wilson was at the center of controversy involving evidence the current Bush administration used to justify the war on Iraq. Wilson has held many senior government posts, including Senior Director for African Affairs in the Clinton administration. His new memoir, The Politics of Truth, takes readers inside two decades of world politics.
