President William J. Clinton
original airdate June 28, 2004
The first Baby Boomer president, Bill Clinton is a man of talent and contradictions. He was the first Democratic president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to win a second term. He was also the second U.S. president to be impeached by the House of Representatives. Yet, he maintained unprecedented popular approval ratings for his job as president. Since leaving office, Clinton remains busy. Included in his many projects is the Harlem Small Business Initiative, which will eventually be expanded to other parts of the country. With the release of his memoirs, My Life, he returns to the limelight - just in time for campaign 2004.

Tavis: Tonight, a conversation with Former President Bill Clinton. The president was in town over the weekend promoting his new book 'My Life,' one of the most eagerly anticipated political memoirs of all time. I caught up with the former president before one of his book signings here in Los Angeles.
