House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi unveils the six "core values" that make up the Democrats' New Partnership for America's Future. Actress Felicity Huffman talks about her new TV series, Desperate Housewives.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi
In '07, Speaker Nancy Pelosi made her mark in the record books as the first woman to hold the top job in the House—and become second in line for the presidency. Politics and power are second nature to the California representative. Her dad was a Baltimore politician who ran one of the great political machines, and her brother was a Baltimore mayor. She went from a fast-track family—five children in six years—to ten congressional terms. Pelosi's newly published book, Know Your Power, encourages girls to reach for their dreams.
Felicity Huffman

She's a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company and has an Obie for her work. She also won a best actress Oscar nom for her role in the indie film Transamerica and can next be seen in Phoebe in Wonderland. Raised in Colorado, Huffman studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and NYU's Circle in the Square.
