Using his prior public service and private sector experience to the benefit of his constituents, Colorado's Gov. Bill Owens has won high marks for leadership. The Wall Street Journal cited his low taxes and restrained government spending policies as an example for other states, and Education Week praised his education accountability system as among the best in the nation. As a Soviet affairs expert, he often writes and lectures on Russia. Owens has been labeled one of the major emerging leaders in American politics.

A pioneer of neo-soul, Raphael Saadiq produces, sings and plays several instruments. At age 6, he played bass in his hometown of Oakland, CA. At 18, he played with Prince. Saadiq was a founding member of the supergroups Tony! Toni! Toné! and Lucy Pearl. He's also produced tracks for numerous artists. Saadiq made history with his debut solo effort, "Instant Vintage," as the first artist nominated for a Grammy without having a major record deal.
