Oliver Stone
Oscar- and Emmy-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone is known for writing and directing powerful and often controversial films. His credits include Midnight Express, Scarface, Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, Nixon and JFK. The NYC native taught school in Vietnam and lived in Mexico. He's a decorated Vietnam War vet who, upon his return, studied filmmaking at NYU. Stone began his film career as a screenwriter in the late '70s. His latest film is the controversial W., about George W. Bush's rise to power.
Lenny Kravitz
Lenny Kravitz is literally a one-man band. He writes, sings and plays all the instruments on his albums. The son of show business parents, Williams grew up around musical giants. He pretended his mom's pots and pans were drums and taught himself bass, piano and guitar. His music is a diverse blend of rock and soul, inspired by such icons as Prince and Jimi Hendrix. Kravitz also writes songs for other rock big heavyweights such as Aerosmith and Mick Jagger. Baptism is his seventh album.
