For reigning WBA Junior Middleweight champ Ronald "Winky" Wright, the years of being one of the most respected yet ignored fighters of his era are over. After defeating Shane Mosley - twice - Wright has moved into the big-money league. He began his amateur career in his teens and won six international competitions. Wright turned pro in '90 and won his first major title in '94. For several years, he fought mostly in Europe where he learned to adapt his style. In May, he moves up in weight class to challenge Felix Trinidad.
