Journalist Azadeh Moaveni speculates on whether Iran is the next target in the President's plan to remake the Middle East. Melinda and Melinda star Radha Mitchell talks about the influx of Aussie actors in American cinema.
Azadeh Moaveni
As a reporter for Time magazine, Azadeh Moaveni took an assignment that meant moving to Iran. That post was also an opportunity to explore her identity as an Iranian American. She chronicles her experience in the book, Lipstick Jihad. Moaveni grew up in Palo Alto, CA and and studied politics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She won a Fulbright fellowship and studied Arabic at the American University in Cairo. After leaving Time, Moaveni covered the war in Iraq for the Los Angeles Times.
Radha Mitchell
Radha Mitchell is one of Hollywood's newest leading ladies. She played Johnny Depp's wife in Finding Neverland and will next be seen as the title character in Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda. While still in high school, Mitchell began working in TV and movies in her native Australia. Her film credits include Pitch Black, High Art, the Independent Spirit Award-winning film Everything Put Together, Phone Booth and Man on Fire. She also starred in NBC's critically acclaimed mini-series Uprising.
