Oded Fehr

Israeli American actor Oded Fehr is best known to audiences from the hit films The Mummy - his first major screen role, won just two months after graduating from acting school - and its sequel, The Mummy Returns. His TV credits include Presidio Med and the telepics Arabian Nights and Cleopatra. Fehr was born in Tel Aviv and did a stint in the Israeli navy. He eventually moved to Europe intending to pursue a business career but discovered acting instead. He can be seen in the new Showtime miniseries, Sleeper Cell.

Tavis: A couple of quick important programming notes. First, tomorrow night, a rare conversation with Stanley "Tookie" Williams, the former gang leader, now of course on California's death row, scheduled to die on December 13th. This past weekend, I spent a few hours at San Quentin with Stanley Williams. Tomorrow night, a conversation with him from death row at San Quentin.
On Wednesday night, Oscar-winning director Ron Howard joins us for the full half-hour.
And on Thursday and Friday, we'll be coming to you from Montgomery, Alabama, for two special nights of programming on the 50th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The anniversary, of course, made even more poignant by the recent passing of Rosa Parks.
