Religious scholar Dr. Randall Balmer comments on the religious right's impact on America. Author-pastor Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook discusses her new book, Live Like You're Blessed.
Dr. Randall Balmer
Randall Balmer is American religious history professor at Barnard College and a visiting professor at Yale. He's also editor-at-large for Christianity Today magazine. Balmer's commentaries have appeared in newspapers across the country, and his books have won several awards. His Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory was made into an award-winning PBS documentary, which earned an Emmy nomination. Balmer's latest book is Thy Kingdom Come. Based in Connecticut, he earned his Ph.D. from Princeton.
Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook
Founder and senior pastor of the Bronx Fellowship Christian Church, Rev. Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook has accomplished many "firsts," including being the first woman elected president of the Hampton, VA University Ministries Conference and the first female chaplain of the New York City Police Department. She also served as a consultant to HUD in the Clinton administration. Cook is president of JONCO Productions, a management consultant firm, and a best-selling author. Her latest book is Live Like You're Blessed.
