CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo comments on her observations during a recent visit to China. Celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz feels photos are important because they're mirrors into our lives.
Maria Bartiromo
One of the most influential voices on Wall Street, Maria Bartiromo is CNBC's business news anchor. She hosts the net's Closing Bell and the nationally-syndicated Wall Street Journal Report, for which she is also managing editor. She's also a writer for several business magazines and author of Use the News. Bartiromo was the first journalist to report live on TV, daily, from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. She was previously a producer and assignment editor with CNN Business News.
Annie Leibovitz
Using her signature photography technique, Annie Leibovitz has chronicled popular culture for more than 30 years. She's known for her portraits of celebrities and political icons and has had her work exhibited at museums and galleries all over the world. Leibovitz began her career, with Rolling Stone magazine, while still in school. She's a contributing photographer for Vanity Fair and has worked on high-profile ad campaigns. She's also assembled several books, including the new Annie Leibovitz at Work.
