Though he taught himself to play guitar and still can't read music, Lindsey Buckingham has had a thriving career both as a solo artist and as a member of Fleetwood Mac. He provided the band with brilliant songs and gifted arrangements, but left in '87 to concentrate on his solo career. As a member of Fleetwood Mac, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in '98. Buckingham's newest solo release, "Under the Skin," was recorded in makeshift studios, while he toured with the reunited band.
