James Traub, author of a new book on Kofi Annan, The Best Intentions, discusses the legacy of the U.N. Secretary-General. Actor Freddy Rodriguez talks about his new film, Bobby.
James Traub
James Traub is a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine. He's also written for several other publications, including The Atlantic Monthly and The New Republic, and was a staff writer for The New Yorker. He's written extensively about U.S. foreign policy, the U.N., race and education. His books include, The Devil's Playground and, his latest, The Best Intentions: Kofi Annan and the U.N. in the Era of American World Power. Traub is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Freddy Rodriguez
Freddy Rodriguez earned an Emmy nod and two SAG Awards for his role on HBO's Six Feet Under and has two features now in theaters: Bobby and the drama, Harsh Times. A theater-trained actor who began acting in his teens, Rodriguez won a scholarship to the summer arts program at the Center for the Gifted in his native Chicago and went on to star in more than 20 theater productions. His credits include the films Dead Presidents and Poseidon and recurring roles on TV's Scrubs and Party of Five.
