Husband-and-wife team William Cohen and Janet Langhart Cohen believe that hatred kills the American dream. Best-selling author Walter Mosley doesn't think the U.S. can stay within the two-party system.
Janet Langhart Cohen
Janet Langhart Cohen is an Emmy-nominated journalist and former model who began her TV career in Chicago. She's covered news in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, worked as a Boston Herald columnist and served as U.S. News and World Report spokeswoman. President-CEO of Langhart Communications, she co-wrote Love in Black and White with her husband, ex Pentagon chief William Cohen. During his cabinet tenure, Langhart founded several initiatives, including the Citizen Patriot Organization.
William Cohen
William Cohen heads the strategic business consulting firm, The Cohen Group. He served as Defense Secretary in President Clinton's first cabinet and, before that, represented Maine in Congress, serving three terms each in the Senate and House. Cohen gained national prominence as the freshman GOP congressman who cast the deciding vote to impeach President Nixon. An attorney before entering politics, Cohen has found time to write/co-author nine books, including nonfiction, novels and two books of poetry.
Walter Mosley
Best-selling novelist Walter Mosley injects his African American-Jewish heritage into his stories, giving them broader appeal. The Los Angeles native liked writing in his youth, but lost the urge as he moved East and worked various jobs. In the ‘80s, Mosley's passion was, fortunately, re-ignited. In ‘00, he partnered with City College of New York to create a publishing certificate program targeting minorities—the first such program in the country. Blonde Faith is the latest in his Easy Rawlins mystery series.
