Former U.S. Marine captain Brian Steidle discusses trying to make a difference in Darfur with his photos and reports. R&B singer Eddie Levert reflects on the relationship with his late son, Gerald.

Brien Steidle is a former U.S. Marine captain who served 6 months in Darfur as an unarmed military observer for the African Union's peacekeeping mission to stop the ongoing genocide. He shares his experience in a book and documentary film, both titled The Devil Came on Horseback. Steidle has met with various State Department representatives and works with his sister, Gretchen, founder of Global Grassroots, to raise public awareness about the atrocities in Sudan and seek international support.

Eddie Levert is co-founder of the R&B group and ‘05 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The O'Jays. He sang lead on such million-selling hits as 'Love Train' and 'For the Love of Money'—the theme song of The Apprentice TV show—and also co-wrote songs for the successful trio and other artists. Levert's recent projects are both collaborations with his late son, Gerald. The book, I Got Your Back, offers a glimpse into their rare father-son bond, and 'Something to Talk About' is their second duet CD.
