Mike Huckabee was one of Arkansas' longest serving governors. The ordained Baptist minister is a staunch health care advocate, who created a model program for providing health insurance to children and partnered with another Hope, AK native son, Bill Clinton, in a campaign to combat child obesity. Diagnosed with diabetes in '03, Huckabee lost more than 110 pounds. He's also written several books, including Character Makes a Difference. A former GOP presidential candidate, he's rumored to be on McCain's short list for VP.

The Grammy-winning songstress first sang in a gospel choir and turned a role in a German stage production into a launch pad for her career. The release of "Crayons" marks Summer's first CD of new material in 17 years.
