In '01, Jim Warren was chosen by The Washingtonian Magazine as one of the 50 best and most influential journalists. Until recently, he was the Chicago Tribune's managing editor for features. He joined the paper in '84, serving in several posts, including Washington bureau chief. He also worked for the Chicago Sun-Times and did a stint as a McLaughlin Group panelist.
