Recently the New York City Board of Health voted to ban trans fats from food served in the city's 20,000 restaurants. Other cities such as Chicago are taking similar measures. Health experts believe trans fats, which are derived from partially hydrogenated oils, increase the risk of heart disease.
Should cities ban trans fats from restaurants?
