You can earn college credit from Albuquerque TVI by watching telecourses presented on KNME-TV and completing course materials at home. This service is part of TVI’s GOING THE DISTANCE education project which uses the Internet and television to reach students who cannot attend classes on campus.
The summer semester starts Monday, May 19 with the courses BUSINESS AND THE LAW (Monday and Tuesday), BUSINESS FILE (Wednesday and Thursday), and BY THE NUMBERS (Friday & Saturday). The programs will be broadcast on KNME-TV at 1:00 p.m.
Open registration for GOING THE DISTANCE classes is April 30 through May 23. For more information, call TVI’s Business Occupations Department at 224-3811.
