Michele McLellan is a journalist, editor and consultant who works on projects that help foster a healthy local news ecosystem. She founded the "Block by Block: Community News Summit":http://www.rjionline.org/events/block-block-2011, a network of small, entrepreneurial local news sites and also advises local online news projects on behalf of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and develops training programs for them at Knight Digital Media Center at USC-Annenberg.
