Mike Reilley has spent more than a decade teaching fundamentals to college journalists. His students work for ESPN, Sports Illustrated, the Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, NBC News, The Food Network, Variety and GateHouse Media. He founded and edits The Journalist’s Toolbox for SPJ, and he publishes student projects on The Red Line Project, a community news site in Chicago.
