At the Winter Olympics, members of the press affiliated with official, IOC-designated media outlets have access to the Main Media Center and are given a special accreditation badge. Here’s the latest 4MR audio report from MediaShift. In this week’s edition, I look at the recent buyout of NowPublic by Examiner.com for a reported $25 million. The citizen media site will combine with Examiner.com’s low-pay “Examiners,” who write about niche topics for the newspaper chain.
